Storying in Ethiopia

Storying in Ethiopia

"Can we tell you a story?"

The question came through a translator, from the members of a short-term volunteer team from the U.S. They had just trekked through the mountains of Ethiopia on donkeys, carrying only their sleeping bags and a few supplies.

Relying on God for the rest of their needs on their five-day journey, they had arrived at a school after a five-hour walk from the end of the nearest road. They were greeted by the teachers of the school, who offered to let them sleep in one of the classrooms and shared a meal with them.
